Submission Guidelines Sciences Po Law Review
The Sciences Po Law Review is now accepting student submissions for its Blog! Selected articles will be featured on our website (under “Editorials”) and shared across our social media platforms. Submissions are accepted on a rolling basis; however, to ensure consideration for publication this semester, please submit your work no later than November 4, 2024. Before submitting, please keep these guidelines in mind:

Submissions should have a word count between 1,000 and 3,000 words, excluding footnotes. Short articles are preferred.

Files must be submitted in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx).

Submissions must focus on a legal topic, though interdisciplinary approaches (e.g. political science, history, sociology etc.) are welcome. Articles related to novel developments in law or recent events are preferred.

A cover page should include:

Essay title
-
Author’s full name
-
Submission category (Public, Private, International, Constitutional Law etc.)

Final word count

A short bio with the following details: current stage of studies or career (including year, academic program, and affiliation), legal interests or specializations

A statement confirming that the work is original and unpublished. Any use of others' work must be properly cited and referenced. Shared articles are allowed.

A 200-word summary should precede the introduction and will be shared on social media platforms (e.g. Instagram, LinkedIn) if accepted.

The main text should use Times New Roman font, size 12, with 1-inch margins and 1.5 line spacing. Footnotes should be in Times New Roman, size 10. Paragraphs should be indented with no extra space between them. Figures and tables should only be included if essential.

All citations must follow the APA citation style.

Your article should be clear, engaging, and accessible to a broad audience.

All pieces will be double-blind peer reviewed.
Note: You can often adapt previous research from university. However, a research article or seminar paper will likely need significant revisions to be appropriate for publication.
